| » What is difference between Colocation and a Dedicated Server? |
| Colocation is basically the same as a Dedicated Server except you own the server hardware. Typically customers will either deliver or ship their servers to us and we get them online. This makes sense for customers who are very confident in their ability to manage and configure their machines or have specific hardware needs not available in a dedicated server configuration. |

| » Do you charge a setup fee? |
| Yes. Setup fees vary for each Colocation Service we offer. If you sign up for yearly billing, we will waive your setup fee. |

| » Do you offer secure cage space? |
| Yes. For those customers that would like their own area, we offer scalable, secure cage from 100 sq. feet to 5000 sq. feet. Please contact our Sales Department for more details. |

| » Who is responsible for handling hardware components if they fail? |
| You are solely responsible for all of your hardware. |
|
|
| » How many IP addresses will I receive? |
| This depends on the Colocation Package you choose. Server Colocation packages come with 5 FREE IP addresses, Data Center rackspace packages come with 10 FREE IP Addresses, and Secure Cage Colocation comes with 20 IP Addresses. You can easily order additional IP addresses in blocks of 5, 10, 32, 64, 128 and 255 for a small additional fee. |

| » Will I receive all of my IP addresses at once? |
| No. We furnish IP addresses on a "as-needed" basis. When your Server is first installed, we provide you with as many of your IP Addresses you need, as long as they are all used immediately. You can request more of your IP Addresses as long as all of your existing IP Addresses are in use. All additional IP Address requests must be justified. |

| » Where will my server be colocated? |
| Your server will be colocated at Hosting&COLO's Class A, Telco-grade Data Center facility in Los Angeles, CA. For more information about our Data Center facility, please visit our Data Center facilities page. |

| » What size server(s) can I colocate with Hosting&COLO? |
| You can colocate any size server. |
|
|
| » Can I colocate a desktop PC or Tower Server? |
| Yes. We have special racks setup exclusively to accommodate your Tower Servers. No longer will you have to lay your Tower Server on its side to fit in a rack, nor will you have to pay for 4U of rackspace. We have a different pricing structure for Tower Server Colocation. |

| » Can I colocate more than one server? |
| Absolutely! Simply add up the total height of the servers and select that option when you order your package. There is no extra setup fee for additional servers as long as you send both of them to us at the same time. |

| » How do you calculate how much bandwidth I use? |
| We use MRTG, a well-known statistics package, to calculate bandwidth usage. MRTG statistics are made available to you upon request. |
|
|
| » What does 1 Megabit Per Second (1Mbps) of bandwidth equate to? |
| A dedicated connection of 1 Megabit Per Second (1Mbps) will transfer a total of 324 GigaBytes of data if constantly used at 100% throughput capacity for an entire month. |

|
| » What happens if I go over my allowed amount of bandwidth? |
| If you go over your allowed bandwidth, a fee of $2.50/GB will be added to your monthly bill. We will contact you as soon as we notice that you have gone over your monthly allowed bandwidth and we won't send you a bill for the additional bandwidth until we have worked with you to determine the cause of the overage. |

| » Do you require a minimum contract? |
| No. Although, if you sign up for yearly billing, we will waive your setup fee. |

| » What services do you provide with the purchase of a colocation package? |

| » May I visit your colocation facilities for a tour? |
| Absolutely! We are happy to give our potential customers a tour of our Data Center facilities. One of our friendly Colocation Representatives will be happy to arrange a tour for you. |

| » Will you grant me access to your facilities to administer my own servers? |
| Yes. We offer 24x7 physical access to your equipment. You can simply open a support ticket to request access. Due to security restrictions, an escort is required at all times. |
